This piece called 'Leaf Horn' is made completely out of leafs and has been styled into the shape of a horn. It was created in 1996 and is one of many of Goldsworthy's sculptures.

Artwork:

This print is called Absinthe and displays a girl almost blinded by her wild hair and holding up a glass of something. If you look closely to the background you can see what looks to be some form of plant climbing up the picture.
This piece of artwork entitled Sarah Bernhardt was printed by Mucha showing a woman with long hair with flowers attached to the top of her her. As well as patterns in the background, it is also made up of lots of little flowers falling down to the tips of her hair.
Mucha called this print Winter; you can see,

like in the others, he is showing a woman who

withered tree with its tops covered in snow.

Both the woman and the tree look slightly

hunched over.

Karl Blossfeldt (1865 - 1932) :

Information on Blossfeldt:

Blossfeldt was born in Germany in 1865. He was a sculptor's apprentice; after studying painting and sculpture on a scholarship at the School of the Royal Museum of Arts and Crafts in Berlin from 1884 to 1891, he worked in Italy, Greece, and North Africa collecting plant specimens. From 1898 to 1931 he was a professor in the sculpture of living plants at a College of Arts and Crafts in Berlin. In 1899, he began to photograph plant forms with a home made camera. Blossfeldt's photographs were made with a homemade camera that could magnify the subject up to thirty times its actual size. By doing so he revealed extraordinary details within the natural structure of the plants. In the process he created some of the most innovative photographic work of his time. The simple yet expressive forms captured on film affirmed his boundless ability. Indeed, his pictures influenced many architects and artists of his time, who used Blossfeldt's forms on scales as small as ornamental ironwork and as large as the shapes of entire buildings.

Artwork:

This piece of art photography taken and printed in the early 1900's. It is entitled 'Dutch Hyacinth'. It was printed using the finest ink and paper.
An art piece made in the early 1900's. Entitled 'Monk's Hood'.
Printed using the finest pigmented inks on heavyweight German paper made from 100% cotton and natural spring water. Hand finished.
The following piece of art work was also taken around the same time and printed onto the same paper using the same ink. This piece is entitled ' Bear's Breech'.

It is obvious to anyone that Blossfeldt
was a fan of using German heavyweight
paper and the finest pigmented ink as
this piece entitled 'Miss Wilmott's Ghost'
was following in the pattern of the
previous pieces.

I could not find the name for this piece however it is still one of Karl Blossfeldt's photography pieces of a plant. It was taken around the early 1900's like the others using the same materials.
This is another Natural Form photograph and print from Blossfeldt and was taken and printed in the 1900's. This piece is entitled 'Shield Fern'.

The 'Adiantum Pedatum, Hair Fern' is a high-quality printing that gives a vivid and sharp appearance. Produced on medium weight cover stock, this art reproduction is coated with a silken finish that protects the inks and creates an elegant look.

Natural Forms

Natural Forms are photographs, paintings, drawings and prints of natural substances; such as nature, for example flowers. Many artists have made themselves well known by creating amazing artwork out of natural forms. For example Karl Blossfeldt made himself well known by taking photographs of plant form. The following posts will show you artists and some examples of their work with explanations of when and how it was created; as well as what it is (if it is not completely clear).
